What services do you offer?

We offer talk therapy services such as psychotherapy and counseling. We also offer hypnotherapy.

How can I pay? Do you accept credit cards?

Yes. You can pay using cash or credit card.

Do you accept insurance?

Please check with your insurer if they covers mental health services first

How soon can I have a session?

We can often offer appointments for the same day if you contact us early in the day and have an availability. It may take longer to schedule an appointment due to the need to match both your and  therapist’s schedule.

How long is a counseling session?

A standard individual/couple/family session is 50 minutes.

How often should we be meeting?

It’s important to know your availability and time commitment. Depending on your situation, your therapist want to meet anywhere from 3 times a week to once a month. The first session will help determine how often your therapist feels you should meet. This number may change as the weeks go on and can either lessen or increase.

How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

You may always call/text/email your therapist to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Our office policy is that all cancellations and reschedules must be made 24 hours before the scheduled appointment to avoid a fee. If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please kindly give us a 24 hours advance notice, to ensure that you will not be charged for the full appointment fee. If less than 24 hours notice is given, you will be expected to pay for the full amount of a missed appointment. Insurance cannot be charged for this fee.

How long will therapy last?

Depending on the mental health issue, a patient can come in for merely a few sessions or can be there for a much longer term.

Do you accept Japanese National Health Insurance?

No. We are sorry, but the services for psychotherapy and counseling are not covered by Japanese National Health Insurance.

If you are covered by international private insurance plans, please contact your insurance provider for your benefits on outpatient mental health services before contacting us.
